Zone & timers etc

Hi all, I've a confusing 4 zone (underfloor/central heating) home & I've finally learned how to master it (or so I thought).
Have them all on timers. Zone 1 downstairs underground, zone 2 upstairs central heating, zone 3 top floor central heating & 4 DHW.
Today I noticed zone 2 heating was not timed to come on except 2 hrs am & pm ( daily ) but today it seemed to be piping hot when I got home?
Can't figure it at all.
Only different thing that happened was I accidentally left hack door open to where zone 1 maybe been on & so temp would've dropped a lot perhaps demanding more heat to come on ? But that's underfloor & differen to zone 2?
