    Hey guys,

I am currently running 10.5.8. What is the best (quickest) way for me to upgrade. Can I perform a back and download the updates from the web.

Also does anyone know the cost involved?

    Thanks..

I would upgrade to SL personally, but Lion would be the latest.

It would cost you 29 euro for SL (cd) and 24 for Lion download only from the app store - I am not sure but I think you can upgrade from Leopard to Lion but double check that.

You can't upgrade from Leopard to Lion, only from Snow Leopard to Lion. However, you could buy the Lion USB drive that Apple sell and do a clean install of Lion. If you have a TM backup it should be easy enough to transfer over your old user account and applications.

it would be worth remembering that lion does not support ppc applications anymore so quite a few of your apps might not work.. If you really want my opinion move to snow leopard it seems a lot faster than lion on older machines

I agree with that, unless you specifically need a Lion feature.
