freeview /sky mix

just wondered if anyone knows will the magic eye work with a combo box i.e. saorview/freeview box?
I wonder as I want to replace an old sky box (no card works as freeview box) with a combo.


(My present set up is I have 2 sky boxes one is a sky plus box second one is an old sky box with no card works for freeview.Both in attic sitting on top of each other - cables from each boxes rf2 output are joined into a splitter which is then wired to a 4 way amplifier. I have 4 outs from amplifier to 4 different rooms.I have both freeview and skyplus on each tv in each room.)

If I set up the digital aerial and wire in new combo in place of old sky box will the magic eye control the combo from each room. At present I use the sky plus remore or the older sky remote relevant to whichever channel i want to watch. Obviously the combo remote will now be required to work the combo . wonder will magic eye carry the signal

Freeview is UK Digital terrestial system; Freesat is UK FTA digital non Sky satellite system; Freesatfromsky is UK FTV Sky digital with a card; you can also get FTA channels with a Sky box without a card.

just pasted part of your message. This is the second box I refer to above. I simply want to repalce this box with a combo.
