Hi, I live in east Cork and would be happy with a cheapish subscription that gets all the manchester united matches. I'm a complete beginner at this so box and dish suggestions would be welcome also. SD will be fine and english commentary is preferable but not necessary.
    Thanks :)

For cheapness get a Diema card for Hellassat 39e, or Sat BG for 23.5e, same line up, almost always Man U. games but foreign commentary. Better picture than Tring.
    Cost £350 stg (ish).

I'd say Tring.. Choice of games, great signal now, and with HD on the way in the coming year it could be wort it!

You'd get over the poor quality pic at times as the commentary is English and also there might be the odd saturday the 3pm's play up but as said its cheap and its a great pack for the money..

Cyfra+ show pretty much all of them.

I have a cyfra+ card and it covered every premier league united match last season bar one. And get an al jazeera sport card if you want to watch them in the calling cup da cup champions league. As well as all the top leagues and cups in Europe.( la liga, serie a etc)

Possibly the Cyfra+ card and Al Jazzerra on 13 east is the best bet. Good HD coverage now with Cyfra, but no English commentry.

Snaps, could i use a monoblock lnb to view both 28.2 and 13 or would i have to set up a motor on my 80cm dish?

well to be honest a spread like that on an 80cm is touch and go. of course you could align on 19 east (ish) and off set lnbs for 13 & 28 on a multi lnb bracket. You wouldnt get a mono block for that combination, mono block usually only do 6 degree spreads.
