Strange notice: track any mobile

A little icon with a five-pointed star, white with red tips I think, appeared in the top notification area of my SGS2 earlier today. Dragging down the bar to fill the screen revealed text along the lines of "Track any mobile in the world (opt out" and the rest was hidden due to the usual abbreviation that happens with long messages in the status area. When I clicked on the line it disappeared with no apparent follow-up action.
Anyone else see this, recognise the icon our know what application may be responsible?
    Gingerbread.XWKE2.

I have been getting something like that on my phone for the last week or so. Its a white star with a red dot in the middle. Mine says "Spy on any phone!! Spy on any phone in the world!"

When I click on the notification it opens a web browser asking for a mobile number to be entered. Its says that it is a service by Mozzi.com.

I can't figure out how to stop these coming to my phone.

Just looked up mozzi.com - its some sort of mobile subscription service. Well dodgy.

With an accurate description of the icon I found airpush detector too and it found a 3D graphing application that I installed last night. Thanks Trojan and others. Sorted.
