    hey, I just finished re-wiring a bit, and ended up with leaving out fuse, do I really need it?

    once you know to stop pulling the trigger if something jams or breaks you should be fine

    Put it this way; if you take the fuse out of the board in your house and bypass it, it'll work. The reason people don't do that is, if something goes wrong, your house ends up being a 2ft tall pile of ash.

    The same applies here. Your gun will run without a fuse, but if it all goes pear-shaped some day, you've got no protection.

    The choice is yours. Personally, I have a fuse in all but one rifle, and that's unprotected solely due to space reasons. If there's one on it, run with it. It's not doing any harm and it might save your wiring some day. If not run without it or install one, the choice is yours. I'd advise the latter but it's a personal call.


    Anyone who advises you to remove them, however, is talking rubbish.
