    Note - Arnova - not Archos. Poor budget brother of Archos. May not be the bargain it seems. Check out the Archos 101 G9 for a proper budget tablet.

    Bought one of these 2 weeks ago and very happy with it. I had a go of an Archos 101 in Power City and can't see much difference performance wise. Its fast and the screen is very responsive. You can't get Android Market on it unless you install an unofficial ROM, but you can Google APKs and copy them over. The Archos has some extras like HDMI output but its not something that I need.

    Just found a simple way to get Market, Gmail etc to install by following instructions here: http://www.arctablet.com/blog/forum/arnova-10-g2/install-android-market-without-root-on-latest-firmware/
    No rooting etc required.

    how did you manage to get one of those? i went to a maplin on tuesday in blanchardstown and they said they had none in stock and were not expecting anymore until february 2012.

    wtf!!

    I got a brand new one for €184 online including delivery and a £5 discount, and also got one in the dundalk store, they only had 2 and a friend bought the other, very happy with it, compared to the one in power city for €149, this one is so much faster, good sound and picture, can't fault it.
    Maybe ring other stores and see if they have any left.

    Edited to add the one they have onine now is a b grade and more expensive then the brand new one i bought, one i bought was £149.
