Split transition areas in triathlons?

I was looking at the details for IM frankfurt, it looks like T1 and T2 are in totally different locations, based on the course maps.

Does that mean you have to leave your kit bags in two places, and do you have a pre-defined place to put your bike in T2 or is it a case of putting it in the first available place when transitioning to the run?

I didn't spot any info on their website about how it works in practice, so just curious if anyone here knows?

You drop you bike in T1 and set up T1, everything you need for T2 goes in a numbered bag (nice bags) and you drop it into T1 too. Also a bag for post race gear. The organisers transport the bags to T2 and finish area and then have them on numbered hooks waiting for you. Worked well.
