Advice on new tv

Hi all, hoping for some advice on getting a new tv as despite being reasonably tech literate I'm oblivious to home theatre outside of upgrading every few years. It's primarily going to be used with consoles (wii/xbox 360) and with an htpc outputting over hdmi so saorview/sky isn't important. I'm looking around the 500-600 euro range and around 40 inches or so.

Thus far from looking at reviews and prices I'm thinking of the following :

    LG 42LK530T

Panasonic TX-P42U30B (or possibly the similar but slightly more expensive model with extra hdmi ports/various other confusing bits and pieces VIERA TX-P42S30B )

    LG 42PW450T

If anyone has any opinions on these, or completely different suggestions I'd love to hear them, for the size and price I seem to be looking at fairly budget end options but I have no desire at all to pay for 3D or "smart" options etc, I'd just prefer decent picture quality for the price.

The Panasonic. Plasmas have the best picture quality and for gaming, nothing is better because the response time is extremely fast.
