Hello ,I'm in the process of finally getting my first road bike and it's going to have xenon/mirage groupset and a pair of khasim wheels.
I'm not sure to get better shifters than the xenon ones and a better rear derailer ,but this is only a winter bike and I'm hoping to get a good carbon in april/may next year. So keeping the price down is important for me.

If you can push the budget up to a Veloce gruppo it would be worth even for a winter bike.
Not sure bout mirage but xenon have plastic lever and shifter blades and I snapped the shifter blade on one before.

I think Xenon or Mirage is just fine for a winter bike. I know someone who's ridden for years with Xenon on his sole bike and yet to have a problem with it.

I have Mirage and the khasim G3 wheels. I am very happy with both.

Thanks for the replies ,I might ask for different shifters before the bars are taped up.

Really happy with it. I can't fault it at all. Cheers for the advice when I was buying it. As for the campy mirage shifters, I quite like the range you get when moving down the cassette. I think I can move up to 5 cogs in a single shift. I would very rarely need to do that but I think its a nice feature.
