    Hi

Recently got a house rewired -

    Couple of issues -

1.A light switch is wired the wrong way around - lights controlled from two switches -
    2. Immersion is wired wrong way - turn on it goes off and off it goes on
    2. Digital Stat that controls motorized valve is wrong too - put the required temp down - the valve opens - put the required temp up it closes.

Are these simple fixes or should one be worried?

    Are these snags normal? -

Electrician is coming back next week to finish off- no one in house yet

Thanks for your help in advance :)

Very easy rectify all 3 issues by someone who knows what they're at. Don't be concerned.

What am I missing here? Your immersion is through a DP switch, which is on in the on position and off in the off, how can it be reversed?

Are you sure that it's not just the switch plates put on upside down?

Even if it is terminated the wrong way around, it will still be on in the on position and off in the off position.

Yes the led would be constantly lit if this is the case, but should not affect the switching positions.

Hi, It's a grasslin qe7 timer if that makes a difference

Left it on for a while there to test it - didn't seem to be working at all - light on but no hot water - also the boost function doesn't turn the light on either so a presume there is a couple of parts wired wrong

    He's due back next week
