My traitor horse appears to be dead??

I cant find my horse.

It either converted back to being a stables horse (which i have to steal) or it must have been killed or run off (but I dont recall either event).

Can horses turn wild again? Do I have to buy another one?

Do a quick travel back to a township, he should be back beside you if he's still alive.

One thing to be aware of is that potions of haggling do not work when buying horses

I bought one, fell off a cliff, now its gone missing. It shows up every now and again, dead! and I found it under a bridge once.

If your horse was suddenly missing, why didn't you load a previous save to see when you last had it?
Unless....dear gods man, you don't only use the autosave do you????

Did you push it off the cliff? Your guilt might be causing you to see it's corpse every now and then.
