Am thinking of getting a Tacx Sirius Turbo Trainer.

Anyone got one and have any opinions on it?

    Thanks

I have one - its basic but it works fine. Doesn't do virtual reality, unfortunately!

My first, so can't compare with anything else. Doesn't come with a riser for the front wheel, you have to buy that separately.

I would recommend an dedicated old wheel though, its tough on tyers.

I also have one. Bought it on special offer from CRC earlier on this year for about 130 Euro. Some reports of breaking the resistance lever because it or the cable is jamming (Justified IMO) and having difficulty assembling it especially fixing the flywheel to the frame and the tyre tension. The recommended adjustment is just touching the tyre + 3.5 turns. I like it as it is quiet enough that you can hear the TV without adjusting the volume and the frame is strong and doesn't flex. I had no trouble assembling it and I don't need to change the resistance setting but use the gears.
