Nothing wrong with it but I went for this deal and Panda is much lighter on resources when scanning.

That thread says the deal is expired so the OP was correct to start a new one.

Panda has been consistently scoring very highly at av-test.org so if you were in the market for buying AV software, 2 quid a year for a top notch AV package is a pretty good deal.

Did you have any delay in redeeming your voucher. My 48 hours are up and I haven't received anything yet.

For some reason the email went into the spam folder in my Gmail - checked it after I hadn't received anything for 3 days. It was pretty much on the 48 hours before they sent it.

I installed the free trial last weekend and I just had to input the code to activate it.

Thanks a million it was sitting in spam as you said. Keep forgetting to check the spam folder.

    Be careful :

My Experience: Purchased under this offer and installed it on Wednesday and it completly messed up the laptop. Was only able to use the internet for a few minutes before every site timed out. So ended up restarting the laptop all the time. In the short time I had between turning it off and on, I did a search on the internet on Panda and the message I was getting " Internet Resident Proxy not working and was closed" and it seems this is a regular problem.
I sent message off to Panda on Wednesday but no response yesterday or today. I'm able to write this now as I have just uninstalled Panda and went back to the free system I was using.
All very frustrating, hope there has been no damage done to the system.

IMO Panda is actually a DOG. I installed a free trial a couple of years ago ant it wouldn't properly uninstall, when I tried to remove it. Nothing would get it out, stuck like a barnacle to a rock. Eventually, I reinstalled the Operating System. Never, but never, would I touch this particular Panda again!

That's why we should do system backups before going into something like that.

I availed of the offer and installed Panda. My internet speed dropped by nearly 50% and my Windows 7 system also seemed slower. I have uninstalled it and gone back to Windows 7 Firewall and MS Security Essentials. Computer and internet is up to speed again.

It shouldn't require a system restore to get rid of any reputable windows application, let alone an anti-virus package. Even now they have a special 'utility' you can download to completely remove their software. No reputable systems admin would recommend it - hence the discounted prices.

I would strongly recommend a Google Search, before installing this.

I wonder did any of the over 3,000 people who availed of this 5 year offer actually get the system working without badly affecting the operations of their computer??
