Routes up Currantohill

    Is there a full list of the various routes up to the peak online somewhere?

    So far i have
    • Devil's Ladder
    • Zig Zags
    • Brother O'Shea's (via Eagle's nest)
    • Beenkerage Ridge
    • Heavenly Gates
    • Caher Route
    • the long route from the Gap of Dunloe

    Before all the climbers weigh in with Howling Ridge, Primroses, Pippit Ridge etc. etc., there is an infinite number of routes depending on skill and experience. See this.

    But the obvious hiking ones you are missing are from the Hag's Glen up the Eastern Reeks - the Zig Zags and the Bone - one or two others from the gap and the Black Valley like via Fearbrahy or Cnoc na dTarbh, two more gullies being Curved and Central, the Black Mare route from Lough Acoose and one or two more whose names escape me. Not sure if there is a list online, but Jim Ryan's book goes through them all.

    hi, type in kerry mountain rescue to google, there are routes on they're web site it actually a great site to go on hopefully it will help you:)
