As the title suggests.. My partner turns 30 on NYE this year and I'm on a bit of a budget..

Can someone please recommend something special that I could get him for around 200 quid give or take??

    Few details:
He has a nice watch already
He doesn't like other people to buy him clothes
    He's afraid of heights
    He doesn't really wear jewelry

    Thanks :o

This is quite tough, im turning 30 myself not long into the new year and if someone asked me want i wanted i wouldnt be able to tell them.

If your OH is anything like me he will most likely have already gotten for himself any electronics/gadgets he wants.
I also dont like other people buying clothes for me for various reasons, but wont go into them here.

The timing of new years eve could allow you to buy maybe tickets for something on NYE and maybe add a hotel for the night, you can obviously add any extra free gifts you want then ;)

Without knowing more about him its hard to say what gifts he might like.

Im a League of ireland fan so for me potential gifts could be based around that, does he follow any sports have any interests?

Not sure what his tastes are but here are some ideas:

Into reading? Kindle - you get one in Tescos now for 110 euro I think

Into music? MP3 player, IPOD Touch for 199

Into films - maybe a Media Player that can hook directly into the TV

Into computers - a small netbook perhaps

Into sport - tickets for a match for his favourite football team

I think one idea might be to sound out one of his close pals. Pals are always good to give you the heads up.

    Best of luck!
