I've recently moved to Spiddal but I work in Galway and I don't finish work until 9 on Thursdays and I've searched the internet but I can't find any information on buses to Spiddal after 9pm at night. Please tell me I've been looking in the wrong places and there is in fact some form of transportation to Spiddal (or even Barna) at this time.
    Any help much appreciated

    Hello

As far as I know there are no buses going your way at that hour

From what I know basically a bus in the morning through to the evening and thats it. You could get a bus to Salthill http://www.buseireann.ie/pdf/1202229915-Galway1.pdf and walk the rest of the way but its a long walk. Or get a bus to Cappagh road and walk rest of the way http://www.citydirectgalway.ie/timetable.htm

Barna - Spiddal road bad for a bicycle, dark and narrow but there is a footpath most of the way which may help.

best of luck with transport problem

No buses at that hour I'm afraid to Spiddal.

Best you can do is either the City Direct service to Cappagh Road above or the
Bus Eireann City Service Route 2W to Seacrest - it will drop you to the Ballymoneen Road/Barna Road Junction on its return (out beyond Knocknacarra Cross).

    From there it's a taxi I'm afraid.
