Buying a Laptop in ROI or NI?

    Hi all

    Im heading shopping to Belfast next week.

    I need a new laptop have a Dell studio 1737 at the moment. 3 years old screen falling off etc.

    Has anyone bought one up North?

    Is it much cheaper?

    Anything to watch out for?

    Best place to go? Currys?Dixons?

    Buy online from the UK, if you are registered for VAT you can buy one VAT free for business use.

    Heh, do you know anyone who owns their own business, a family member or close friend. Definitely worth it seeing as you could be saving 20% of the value of the laptop.

    Hey I was in Belfast recently and though the laptop aren't much cheaper they do have a better selection. It would be best If you could buy online as that's how you'd get the best offer. Shops are a rip in general.

    Thanks was looking at currys online and it is only 20 or 30 euro cheaper.

    Komplette, saveonlaptops, even dell. Theres loads have a look around.
