    Lads,

My muppet girlfriend put dishwasher salt directly into the filter in error.
Will this have any impact on the dishwasher itself ?

We got as much of it out as possible, but there still is some standing water.

    Any help ??

using the word muppet is unnecessary here

put some warm water in the filter to dissolve the salt and then run a quick wash to get rid of it, the main risk is rusting due to prolonged exposure to the salt

    Thanks.
The standing water hasn't really shifted, I did put some hot water down to dry dissolve it, I just assumed the water would still flow down through it.
