Samsung Galaxy Nexus - App Issues

Does anyone know of a decent working twitter app for this phone? I've tried my usual tweetdeck & tweetcaster (I've been switching back and forth a bit to see which one I like) and none of them seem able to connect/authenticate.

Also does anyone know of any other commonly used apps with issues? I only got the phone this morning and will be doing a load of installs this evening when I get home to my wifi as the bloody signal in the office is brutal - 3g/e if you're lucky in Park West.

Tweetcaster HD for Honeycomb is pretty decent. Might work well with ICS.

Paul from Modaco modified tweetdeck to run on ICS and fixed a couple of things (since it doesnt look like twitter will be updating it anytime soon)
Posted it on his site here

    Cheers lads.

I haven't tried seesmic. I will give TweetCaster HD a go. I've also just found that TweetDeck update.

Right, downloaded that TweetDeck apk and tried to put it on the phone. It seems the phone only supports PTP or MTP for transfer.

I took it for granted that I'd be able to access the device storage as an external drive. WTF - I regularly use my phone to transfer files from one place to another. I suppose I'm going to have to start using dropbox or summat - though that only works if you have an internet connection.

Is there any way of getting files on/off this device via windows explorer or similar?

Got that apk on the phone (emailed it to my gmail) and it works fine.

Next issue is with PowerAmp. I put some music on the device last night via media player sync. Only got around to plugging in headphones and having a listen this morning. It's not great at all - sound quality seems ok but there is stuttering. Trying the same music through the Google Music app and it appears to be much better so I'm hopeful it's a software issue.

lots of apps are not optimised for ICS, sure loads of apps look funny because the screen resolution is so high.

I know that these things will catch up - I'm just highlighting it here.

So far the biggest issue I'm having is with the USB - I can't plug the damn thing into my car for music like I could with the Desire (Skoda MDI interface allowed browsing/playing of music from SD card via the headunit & charged at the same time).
