Rules of the road are going on a 9 o clock, 12 o clock 3 o clock system which doesn't really accommodate roundabouts with 5 exits for example.

I thought that too the first time I listened but he actually explains the before and after 12 o clock also half way through the song when he's on that pile of wood.
