    Lads
Got a number of a lad who supplies insulated plasterboard from kingspan, has anyone ever used 2nd's like this?
I am taping and just skimming the joint of an office/gym space in the shed so it doesn't have to be perfect, but as long as they are not pure useless! :)

    Any thoughts?

Just make sure the edges aren't badly damaged...that's where the scrim tape will be going and scrim will only cover so much.
Is it a guy in ballyfin outside portlaoise where you are buying them?

    Thanks for that.
To be honest I don't know his location, his initials are SA, the accent could be around there yes. Do you know the lad?

    That's him alright.
    He's a very decent fellow.
Make sure the insulation is in good order on the back of it.
    Best of luck.

i collected 2nd from factory, they were 50mm and just had hollows and humps in them which were fine for in between rafters.
just beware of bulges. hollows wont be a problem, dickey edges can be filled with expanded foam as discusses earlier

Thanks lads, that sounds ok. Its not going to be massively public the office space, unless I manage to expand! :)
The tape and skim will do the job.

    Thanks

no issues in using seconds as long as they are in reasonably good shape and more often than not, they will be fine. a few bits off the corners but you will find that in new slabs too as often they get damaged a bit even just taking them down off the lorry.

the scrim will cover it as long as they are in reasonably good shape.
