Have a nice cqb gun here that i'm looking to be rid off. It's a full metal PDW. The gun comes with a PEQ battery box and a battery inside. Has a full metal folding stock, and can take your standard m4 mags.

There is one little small problem with the gun which is a feeding problem but i believe it is the mags im using. which wouldn't be great they are only APS mags.

The gun has an upgraded metal hop unit with upgraded rubber(ultimate AFAIK)

Shooting at .93J last time i had it chronod. Would also like to mention this gun has yet to see a days use. Reason for selling it that i need the funds for an ongoing project.

Externals on the gun are flip up front and rear sights, and there is an outer barrel extension for it aswel.

Looking for 200 as i paid 250 and it has hardly come out of the box.

    Pics to follow

offer asking, Cash waiting pending answer to following questions:
    1. Hi have you done any upgrades to the PDW since you bought it? New spring etc..
2.What is the trigger response like on the PDW, is it sharp or slugish with a 9.6v batt?
3.Where was the 0.93 joule reading taken?
4.Has the PDW ever been skirmished?
5.Is it a Ultimate or just a systema hop up rubber?
6.Has the Hop up unit been replaced and if so by what make?
7.The jamming problem is a pretty serious one have you tried to fix it? Tried any different mags? Do the aps mag work in your APS ASR 101 AEG?
Is the problem with the Hop up unit? How many rounds can you fire before a jam and how do you clear the jam??
Sorry for all the questions but need to know the whole story of an aeg before I fork out the cash. Good quality recent pics of both sides as well. Cheers in advance

    1. Ive done no upgrades to the AEG. I am the first and only owner.
    2. The trigger response is average. its not sluggish but i wouldn't call it fantastic.
    3. Reading was taking in Bellurgan Park at Belka wars part 3. But the gun was not used.
    4. No the gun has never been skirmished.
    5. As far as i am aware its an ultimate hop up rubber.
    6. the stock up unit was a flimsy plastic one. i had it replaced with a metal one which i believe to have been a CA not 100% though.
7.I have tried to fix it. I had a temp fix. I was told to spray some silicone oil into the top of my mags and run it through the up up rubber clean the barrel and put some rounds through it. It did work for some time until the problem came back. I have tried it with Friends SRC mags and it fed perfectly. He offered a swap of mags but the aps's didnt work in his gun which is why i believe its the mags.

    Pics will be up tomorrow

Hi, picked up a new Dboys PDW from a retailer about 3 weeks ago and since then ive brought it to a site with me and got it chronoed at around .7J but i was at home and plinking with it. And for some reason the bbs are getting jammed in what i think is the hop up. I recently got a new systema hop up rubber installed in it. If that was installed wrong could that be the cause of the jamming?

Okay, well basicly I have a Dboys KAC style PDW. The trigger respones is a little sluggish and I was wondering what I could get done to it to improve it. Even though its a cqb gun im a semi player. Aswel as that I haven't got alot of money so would rather start with the cheaper solutions then upgrading motors and gears etc.

Cheers for the pics and the answers just a few things I'd like to clear up I was going through some of your old posts which I've posted above.
    1. In your post 2 months ago you state thst after testing at a site the power of the AEG was only 0.7joule and now you state its 0.93 joule. With no spring change or upgrades how do you explain this increase in over 35fps. I'd be testing with a chrono before buying but before I take a trip to dublin I'd like to know what the power level is.
    2. The trigger response again 2 months ago it was in your own words sluggish but now its average what did you do to improve it?
    3. One post its a systema and now its an ultimate hop up rubber. Which is it what changed your mind about which one was installed?
I'm still interested but the inconsistencies have me concerned and the feeding problem means the AEG is not fully functioning and I might have to put more money in. If you could explain the above inconsistencies please.

    1. The rubber installation was done by a retailer i was told it was a systema but may of been an ultimate.
2.the battery i was testing with was an 8.4v its not great on them. You asked how it was on a 9.6v. I told you.
    3. And being perfectly honest i cant explain the chrono readings. I am only telling you what comes up on the chrono.. Different brands which ive been told can be inaccurate.

I will be out at Vacant sunday which i believe is your nect of the woods judging by your profile. Your free to come down and have a lool and get it chronoed i can bring the aeg

    EDIT- Mispellnng

    EDIT- Mispellnng

Ok so I'll get my Techie to have a look he's organised to go skirmishing in Vacant sunday.
    1. he has his own chrono plus the site chrono so we'll see what the Fps actually is.
    2. From your own post on the trigger response you stated in your post you were using a 9.6v (below)
    LawlessBoy wrote: »
Using it with a 9.6v Nimh battery

but again we'll see on sunday..
    3. Same for the hop up and rubber. He'll want to do a detailed inspection, chrono and testfire.
    4. is the battery provided 8.4 or 9.6 and is there a charger?

Also considering that the aeg might need repairing (hop rubber, feed nozzle, air nozzle to fix the feeding problem) maybe a new 1 joule spring plus labour if the power level is only 0.7j and no mags or working mags are being included I am going to withdraw my offer of asking. At the moment for a possibly under powered non fully functioning PDW with no mags I can only offer 120 depending on what my techie says on sunday I Will increase the offer. Cheers for your reply and time. See you sunday.

Sorry but theres no way im letting it for for 120

Thats totally up to you but 200 euro would be a strech for a fully functioning, non sluggish, 9.6v powered, 1 joule AEG with 2 or 3 functioning hi-cap mags. From your posts and all my questions thats not what you have.
The PDW looks great its never been skirmished because it has never worked for you. From your own words its sluggish even with a 9.6v battery, it jams, you tried to fix it and it worked for a while but then the problem returned so as it stands the AEG jams! You think but you don't know that its the mags. Does it work with the mag that came with it? the Dboys magazine? I can only assume and you can correct me if I'm wrong but if it did work with the original dboys mag you would have told me already so if it jams with the manufacturers mag then the mags are not the problem..
The inconsistancies between the 0.7j 2 months ago and your now stated 0.93j power levels is a cause for concern, you said yourself that you cannot explain how without any upgrades it jumped 35+fps but sited that chronos can give different readings. I personally wouldn't like to skirmish at the site that gave the 0.7j reading that chrono would be allowing seriously hot and Illegal AEGs to skirmish on site!!
It comes with a 8.4v batt (useless If its sluggish on a 9.6) and no mags (where is the original?)
So what you have is a jamming, sluggish, 8.4v powered, anywhere from 0.7j to 0.93j AEG with no magazines. (All from your own words)
So if i was to fork out 200 for this AEG I'd at a very minimum have to buy 3 hi-caps at 15euro apiece 45euro, A 9.6v battery, haven't seen one of them with a decent mah rating for less than 30 quid and thats for the cheap ones. Buy and have installed a 1 joule spring maybe 20 euro. So I'm already at 295euro!!! if i pay your asking price before we even get to the jamming issue and what it would cost to fix!!
I am really into the whole look of the PDW and they don't come up here very often when they do they are usually sold in a day and I'd like to buy yours but only for the right price and 200 is not the right price for me. Another 50 would buy me a brand new working one with a hi cap mag and a retailer warrenty. I know you don't think so but 120 is a fair offer for the condition of your PDW and I've been told that even that is too high.. So thats my offer, probably best if you sink a 100quid into it yourself and put it in working order.
Cheers for your time and Please correct me if any of my above statements are incorrect.
