I have a HTC Desire Hd and use its 3g signal as a hotspot to game on line. In general it works fine but I'm unable to change the Nat on the ps3 which means I'm very restricted. I can not access any settings on my phone to change this because I'm told by HTC it just cant be done. I need this sorted, is there anything I can do?
Would connecting my phone to a 3g router give me access to any settings. I've seen a video where changing the ppoe user name and password helps but 3 Ireland tell me they don't use either, I'm at the end of my tether,(pardon the pun)HELP!!!!!

    Alright King,

Yeah you would need to use the PPPOE settings, easiest way, All BB companies would have PPPOE, but like most they dont support online gaming, had this issue with Eircom before, but there policies have changed somewhat and they are now willing to divulge the information, its your right to have the required information, so call them again and ask them for the PPPOE username and password, dont explain what its for, cause once they hear online gaming they might be reluctant.

Give it a shot, if not then there is other ways to configure your router and PS3 to static and and static DNS to get you to atleast a NART Type 2.
