So I've been watching Jim Rome is Burning and SportsNation allot recently and then suddenly this week...no SportsNation and only one Jim Rome is Burning ?!

Anyone else watch these ? Or know why they are not on this/next week (at least) ?

*Please don't move this to some TV forum. Both shows are 75-90% football (college & NFL).

Check the ESPN schedule in the States and see if they are on a break. Some of those shows take a break every now and again especially the end of November through December.

I just checked and Sportsnation is not being shown in the US until 10am on Saturday. Oddly enough it says on the Sportsnation website Thursday is the next one but the ESPN schedule doesn't have it down until Saturday. It seems they didn't show any Sportsnation this week for the most part.

Looking at ESPN America Jim Rome is down for 5am and 8am tomorrow morning. And the are both back on as normal next week.

Both of those shows are really only used as filler on ESPN America. They didn't have regular slots like PTI and Around the Horn. They don't show PTI or Around the horn on Monday's either.

    Full schedule there

Also, there's a ton of College basketball on this week

Wait until the second week of January when the college football bowls are over. From then until about the last week in March there's going to be nothing but college basketball on. In previous years they've had NHL to balance out the schedule but as that's gone now it's going to be a long winter if you don't follow college basketball.

They'll probably fill the schedule with X-Games rubbish and God knows what else.

I meant on ESPN in the US. This week is a big week with loads of mini tournaments on.

Baseball is the only pro sport ESPN America has live rights to
