Hi, just ran out of Liz Earle hot cloth cleanser and toner and feeling a little bit broke with christmas coming up. I'm thinking of trying something from boots botanics brand, if anyone out there has any recommendations on any of botanics skincare please share!!!

Not botanics, but the best affordable substitute for the Liz Earls is No 7's Hot Cloth Cleanser. Its the biz. :)

I've used a few Botanics things, the facewash and the hair serum I think, neither stood out for me.

I just remembered my friend saying she has the Botanics cleansing balm and she loves it! Might be worth a try for you. :)

I use it on my acne-prone skin and it's amazing, although I haven't used Liz Earle. I'd say a tub will last me two months of once a day use.

I bought lots of muslin in Hickeys because I like to use a fresh cloth every day, what do most people do?

You can buy packs of six large muslin squares in the baby aisle at Tesco. I wouldn't use it more than once without running it through the wash either.

I don't bother with toner, I think a splash with cool water is as effective.

I use the No. 7 hot cloth cleanser and I love it. I know you've said you don't and you want recommendations on Botanics so this isn't a cleanser but the Botanics Face Super Balm is soooo good! Especially in winter if you get any lil dry patches. It's great.
