recently i've decided i'm gonna learn an instrument as i kinda have a lot of free time at the moment and want to fill it with something interesting.. so anyway i'm getting myself a guitar.. i'm just wondering what music stores around dublin should i be looking for.. i know Waltons and Musicmaker. any others i should look into?

also what guitar would you recommend for someone starting out.. bearing in mind i am willing to pay for quality.

Is it electric or acoustic guitar that you are considering ?

Some other music shops worth checking out would be "Guitar Centre" on Exchequer St ( oppisite side to Music Maker, but closer to Sth Gt Georges St), "X Music" out near the Red Cow round about, and "Goodwins in Capel St. Also there are always good bargains on www.adverts.ie

the music outlet in Swords do good deals, it's a smallish shop but they order stuff in and price match any online European store which is good
