I was just asking as I went to my GP about a week ago.
To get it done there you'd have to pay and you get the results in a week.
He said to get them free at the hospital it could take up to 2/3months to get the results Which sounded kind of odd. I'm getting done in the gp anyway I just wanted to know if he was making it up about it taking 2/3months.

I'm doing my yearly full blood tests tomorrow morning...always got my result in max 10 working days / 2 weeks.

Maybe you are doing some special tests that takes so long...!?

It's just a general blood test see if I have anything wrong with me. I'm kinda young he could've just been saying that .

The delay at hospitals is due to the system they have where you need an appointment to get blood taken and the waiting list is at least 8 weeks long in most hospitals.
How long they take to come back depends on the test tbh. Some are back very quickly 1-3 days and some up to 4-6 weeks though these are usually very specialised tests.
