btw nobody has a problem with the guy speaking his mind, they have a problem with an elected public servant refusing to serve a set of his constituents based on their skin colour.

Ok,so should people carry out the job they are elected to do? Should they take expenses and a mayoral allowance and refuse to represent certain groups of people they are supposed to represent? Try that in your job if you have one, refuse to deal with a particular group of people and see how long you last!

Considering we are not in America nor do we use their slang is this relevent, also the Mayor was speaking about Black people from Africa this irrelevent. To call a spade a spade in this country is to speak openly and frank about a topic and not hold back or beat about the bush.

Yes the questions are a little loaded but I have seen worse & we are capable of voting regardless of that.

I think this thread should be left open as an indicator of where people stand on this issue. (Approx 68% in favour of the Mayor of Naas at this stage).
