What is the general rule on gp visits for a follow up consultation

    As in, is it usual to charge a patient in such circumstances as when the patient decides they want a follow up consultation, as they feel the problem that raised was not addressed or identified correctly, is it the doctor's discretion in this case as to how much they will charge or if there will be a fee?

    Doctor's discretion afaik. The surgery probably has a general guideline if you ring up and ask the secretary. Most do reduced rates/free follow ups for the same issue, just ask really

    Nope it's purely at the discretion of the GP.
