Hi, is there any particular brand of mic you have to buy for the likes of X Factor or Sing It or will any USB mic do?

I think any USB mic will do, as long as it's not a WiiSpeak game. Most bundled mics are based on logitech layouts far as I know

One thing - if you're looking to use 2 mics, you should try and pick up an official bundle for a game that uses 2 or more mics - the Wii will only recognise 1 mic per hub, so if you plug 2 USB mics in the back, that's one mic as far as the Wii is concerned. Singing games and the RB games (that do harmonies- it's important that the game requires 2 active mics for 2 seperate players simultaneously) include a mic adapter or a usb hub
