Looking at deals to replace PS3

So my fat ps3 broke down there the other day, it just turns on for about two seconds when I press the power or eject button, then switches itself off; I rang customer care, they tried to troubleshoot it with me and all, but it's beyond hope! They offered me a refurbish for €120 but I've been reading so many stories of people paying for five or six refurbishments, so I think I'll just buy a new slim, been looking at deals, best I've seen is a 160GB plus one of six very recent games for 220 in hmv. Is there some sort of hideous catch there though?? All the other shops are at least 40 quid more for a similar deal! How can hmv be so cheap? Also, my copy of Skyrim is stuck in the disc drive of my old one, it won't eject it when I press the button, how can I get it out?

    Thanks

YLOD: How To Eject Your Stuck Disc

It seems many people on this forum don't know how to get their stuck disc out of their system after getting the YLOD problem so I thought I'd post how to get it out.*

    It's quite simple really.

    1. First shut down the system by flipping the power switch in the back off.

    2. Hold down the eject disc button.

    3. While still holding down the eject button, flip the power switch to turn back on your PS3.

    4. When the green light comes on, wait a few seconds then tap the eject button a couple times. The fan will run on full power and the disc will eject.

*Not guaranteed to work on all models.
