No Internet over 3g

For the last couple of days I can't access the internet (ie pages won't load) on 3g. I am getting a good signal but no pages will load.
I've tried a few different sites- same problem.
    Mobile data is turned on.
It was working ok before (but not nearly as good as my previous HTC Desire).
Anybody else with suggestions or similar experiences?

Also the battery goes down fairly fast without actually using it for anything (ie sitting in my pocket)!

I'm surprised there are no other Boardsies with this problem.
I know I'm not the only one after seeing this.

What network? What phone? Is it everywhere, or just at home? What iOS?

I think there is a thread on this already.

Well I am having these problems too. Battery seems fine though.

I was thinking it was maybe a Meteor fault. Or at the least ios 5 and Meteor. As I have only had these problems since joining Meteor. Plus I have had them with my 3GS and 4s. So I am hoping the next update will sort them out. In general I am having a lot of problems with Meteor.

Tomorrow I will be putting a 3 sim in my 4s. I am hoping that will let me rule out the phone.

I don't think it's a Meteor problem. I've been getting a good signal with them.
I've been with Meteor a while (with a HTC Desire for the last year) and I've NEVER had a problem with their service.
Also, by the link I would think the problem is spread around with a lot of different carriers from different countries- Ios being the common denominator.

Your probably right. We probably have different problem.

My experience with Meteor has not been great since joining them. The 3G is quite flakey. It works but not all the time.

Since this morning I have had a 3 sim in my phone. I'm a finding 3G quite smooth so far. Could you try a different sim to rule the network or phone out?

Just did a restart and it seems to be ok, so far.

    That's good eh.
When your using your 3G. Is it always smooth. Does everything work the first go? As in mail, apps safari?

I have an iphone4 on eMobile (basically meteor) and the 3G is excellent. I'm on iOS 5 so it not that. It obviously just needed a hard reset after applying the latest carrier bundle when the phone was activated.
