b an q do a similar one which i have used and it worked well, the key is to get a good fixing for the brass base plate on the wall and then use just enough ptfe so as the tap is tight when in the right position on the last turn. if u turn it till the parts meet it will be off the upright

I cant see anything wrong with them but having said that i would not use one. I prefere to do mine with solid pipe but thats just me.

You need to be connecting to mains pressure for the self tapping washing machine valve to work and as this is not fitted with a non return valve do not leave a hose connected to the tap or you will get anti siophoning which can poision your drinking water....

    Thanks for the replies .

I just had a look under the kitchen sink to see what pipes were there .

There is a spare threaded dishwasher type tap (the blue one )

Can I take a feed from this and use it to run an outside tap ?

    Pic attached .

The supply you have there is perfect. The tap kit is too good. All you need is the hose €5, The tap €7, and back plate €3. PTFE tap is only .45c .

Came across one before. The woman's son cut the hose outside with a scissors :pac::pac:. I just replaced with copper. That's my only encounter with them.
