Our company has been pushing us very hard to finish out a good year (I have heard that the company is about to be put up for sale.)

We have all worked very hard and succeeded in delivering a profitbable year showing an increase on last years results.

Is it acceptable for me to ask my manager if the company will be giving out a Christmas bonus to staff this year?

Unless you have a bonus scheme in your terms of pay then you may be told where to go.

Last thing they are going to do is spend money ahead of been sold
