    im told i am missing a plug in so i downloaded adobe reader as advised but still not working!!!! help!

    What browser are you using? Does it happen with all PDFs? Safari 5's built-in PDF viewer has a problem with inline PDFs and Adobe's plugin apparently doesn't work at all. If (like me) you go to UCD, this means you will have a problem viewing certain PDF files on Blackboard depending how the lecturer put them up. Try downloading the file from the previous page or use another browser.
