Might i sugest a title change to reflect the name under which it's being marketed?

    "Maketoys battle tanker"

(Maketoys are also producing the smaller upcoming third party Devastator - Giant, as well, iirc, as a few G1ish, but 'improved' mini-autobots)

Part of that cost is BBTS' mark up for importing it from Asia.

If you order it direct from Asia, say from Robotkingom, you'll probably get it a bit cheaper.

note: this product page is marked none available, but there may be more stock available closer to release date

I think, BBTS are the only place that have it actually listed for preorder at the moment? The upside is they're one of the few that doesn't expect you to pay until it's physically in stock.

Generally though, you're probably going to see the price of third party toys snaking upwards. Partially because they think they can, partially because labour, raw materials, are going up and exchange rates are shifting.

...and as the Hasbro and Takara ends, you'll be getting less for your money: Price increases, more cheaply made toys, or a mix of both.

It's already being knocked off, apparently.
