Changing Name on House Deeds Fees

We have to get a joint name of ownership of a house changed to one person name,

What is the normal cost for this if using a Solicitor

Was Quoted 500 euro , somebody said this was very expensive ?

Do not be afraid to shop around. You should get it done for about 50 euro.

Depends if joint owners are married or of no relation as it would impact on amount of work.

    50 euro is dreamland stuff.

    Shop around

I was just joking about the 50 euro but I do agree about shopping around.

Let assume the couple was married, and they both consented to one persons name only being on the deeds. Is there much work involved then / how much would that typically cost? Anyone get it done for say 300?
