    I was in the post office(Dundalk) today and was told that the Garda photo id that i currently have(LM 10?) will no longer be accepted from the start of December.

    "Acceptable forms of identification are a valid Passport, a valid Driving Licence, a Garda National Age Card or a Travel Pass accompanied by Photo ID"

    Just a heads up folks.Prob the same throughout the country.

    Garda Age Card. Buy a 10euro voucher in your PO.

    Shouldn't you be getting a new PPS card with a photo on it soon?

    AFAIK the plan is to start issuing them before Christmas?

    AFAIK this was the original plan? But to due to the cost it was decided to roll it out area by area over an 12/18 month time period & this has only started recently.(if at all ?)

    Any help? Would the ML 10(?) form work as a second form of ID with the birth cert?
