Club Transfer

    Hi has anybody heard of a ruling where if a player has not played for his club for 2 years they would be able to transfer to another club .Find it hard to beleive myself .

    yes this is an option if the player has not played for 96 weeks

    If it is in Dublin that loophole is now closed. Would still have to seek a transfer.

    Did not know there was a transfer window in the gaa ! Next thing we will be paying managers

    it only applies for transfers from one club to another within a county. Transferring from clubs in different counties can be done at any stage of the year.

    There is no 2 year rule - everyone must transfer now from one club to another.
