I have a butterfly in the sink. Has not left my room for over a week. Has had a couple of showers but yet still alive and not fled yet. I help it to fly away but no won't leave me. Seems like its my room-mate now! It's able to move but don't know if it can fly.

Might seem like it could have a broken wing. What should I do??? Throw it out the harsh cold outside the window? Will it miss the heat of the room? It be cruel or just I just let it flee the nest even when I leave the window open it will not fly away so might have to let it fly out the window off my finger?

Help, what shall I do to help this poor creature of a butterfly free?

Well certainly dont set fire to the butterfly then have sex with it...

It's cruel to keep him in the house but it would be cruel to let him fend for himself so maybe you should make him a little home out you back.

It seems like it wants to stay cocooned in my bedroom and not want to leave. I have the window open but it won't fly off....wouldn't set the poor thing on fire. Butterfly very hardy.

Ah I set the butterfly free out into the wild. Haven't seen it since. It flew the nest finally! Heartbroken, will miss the little creature! :(
