    My garage has gone very quiet and my boss told me he'd ring me when it picks back up..Surely im entitled to some sort of letter to claim these days off the social welfare.. Am i right?

    If I was you I would go to your local office and explain the situation to them and they should be able to help you from there.They might contact your boss or ask you to get a letter which your boss will have to give you.

    Also you can contact NERA, the national employment rights authority to seek advice.
