    It says they are for out doors so I dont see why they wouldnt be safe. They most be plugged in inside though.

    No transfomer so its running 230 volt not 12v like the add says as it has no 12vdc transformer. No BS or CE marks and not to mention the plug is wired the wrong way. Also the lead is only about 20 inches long from the plug to first led!
