Resources for FETAC

    Hi All

I have just started teaching FETAC Level 5 Young People and Society and like many others in this forum I am shocked by the lack of resources for tutors to use. I suggest that tutors could share resources in order to save time (obviously tailoring to suit specific learners needs) and bring some consistency across the board.

    I saw a website for this http://www.fetacresources.com/
and think it could be great if used more. I also suggest giving support, advice and resources to other tutors on this thread or others. I am currently working on materials and will be more than happy to share when I am finished.

If anyone has taught this module before I would be delighted to hear from you. :)

Hi, I have been given a new position to tutor Young People and Society to two groups, old and new level 5. Have no material and a bit overwhelmed with getting started as hadn't much notice. Any tips or ideas on good books/websites or good powerpoints would be much appreciated:)

    Hi folks

Welcome to the world of FE and vocational training.

Do remember that the programmes will be different from centre to centre since the development of the new common awards system. The only consistency between centres will the framework (the programme specification) but the assessment techniques can be aligned to different Learning Outcomes and thus the content approved for your centre by FETAC and now QQI may be very different.

    Best of luck
