I have a NVIDIA Gigabyte GeForce GTX 560Ti, I just want to post to say, I personally am not happy with this Graphics cards, I find it to be unstable to most games out now currently as well as some that have been made a few years ago.
It crashes a lot and and can't handle some games on Low, which is very disappointing.
Can anyone suggest an alternative or an upgrade to this?

update the drivers? not a fan of nvidia but that doesnt sound right at all. 560ti should be able to chew through just about anything.

    What is your processor

Thats a defective card. It happens. Return and Exchange it from wherever you got it. In my experience a lot of GPUs head out defective (from either brand) but most of them you catch on day one - like this case.

    Wouldn't be.

Thought it was a brand new card not a few months :/ just thinking to myself thats why I left nvidia in the first place. Don't go telling me there are latent duds in their 500 series now too.

edit: Jesus H Christ, never saw this site.

Pretty sure that deals with older cards though. OP you're still in warranty just get it swapped.

It's a shame, spending 200 on a GPU that crashes and has less FPS than much cheaper versions, My laptop had a nvidia 300 series in it and a PC I had from 2002 ran better and crashed less, in terms of Radeon or XFX etc. what do you think is an equal alternative if they choose to give me a credit refund.

Addition: Hardwareversand removed the model I have, no doubt due to defects or no demand for them.

    You have/had a defective card.

A working 560ti will run Skyrim and BF3 no problem at all.
