I have a picture that I need to put txt over, I've tried it with MSpaint but the txt ends up in a white txt box, but I need it to be just txt if you know what I mean.
Can someone recommend a program that I can use to do this please?

Picassa is good but if youre using paint, when you select the text tool theres an option on the bottom left toolbar that lets you change between a white background in the text box or transparent background.
