The wireless Broadband service provided by Ninetreehill has been more down as much as up for the past 2 weeks NOW gone completely for myself and neighbours. The company has not responded to Emails since Friday 11th November support@ninetreehill.net (except auto response that a ticket has been created. ) They have NO phone contact details on the website and Now worringly the website itself is also down completely http://www.ninetreehill.net/. My job depends on broadband and the Calverstown exchange is not broadband enabled so we rely on wireless , satellite or mobile. Does anyone know what the company is doing?

Thankyou Will_H , that company search link was most helpful.
I will try the service again tonight and see what happens. I just think to ignore customers is stone age thinking. If any other ninetreehill customers are experiencing ongoing problems and want to pm me that's fine.

Doesnt help your specific query but I moved to Calverstown in 2004 and since then I have been trying to get Eircom to enable the exchange. There was a website www.broadbandatoz.com where all the exchanges were listed and gettiing updated as they were enabled. We were the last exchange in Kildare for a number of years and any time I contacted them they kept saying that it was just a matter of months....however ..that site is now gone and the last communication from Eircom I have is that there is no list anymore. There is the NBS now in Calverstown with Three...it's average at best...you are limited in capacity, speed and only have a decent reception in one part of the house (and that's with an antenna on the roof)

Thank you Bazman. I got (and double pay) for mobile broadband with the Three already in addition to Ninetreehill in an effort not to be down but Three is not good enough either and ninetreehill used to be a bit (not much) better. You raise that old chestnut that the NBS(National Broadband Scheme) is "not what it says on the tin" and even more so for areas like Calverstown where reception for mobile broadband is masked by hills and hollows. Even on a good day the mobile broadband speeds and capabilities are not sufficient for anything much above social browsing. I would be interested to hear if Satellite in this area is being used by businesses successfully.

Experiencing the same problem with NTH in Cherryville. Support is abysmal and they are now uncontactable. I am bracing myself for news that they are off the air. Three Broadband not too bad here though their Customer Support is even worse than NTH. However a "National Broadband Scheme" that barely supports simple browsing is barely sustainable for work purposes. One of the joys of country living......
