I like this one better because it actually runs!

The one I posted runs too, first by hand, then by crank and then by itself!

I think the one you posted runs purely on air, as in there is a compressor pumping air into the it, making it run. Don't see any electronics attached to the top of it for spark plugs, and there's no exhaust coming out of it. Still kick ass though. I want one!

just shave off a few of those lumbering wasteful cylinders, and you have the new latest vag tsi lump. its going straight into the new skoda superb combo 4X4. 170 brake.

Are the two pipes coming out of each head not the exhausts, no?

Alanstrainor is correct. I looked at the whole build and I didn't see room for 12 spark/glow plugs on the head. They are only replica exhausts on top for the air to escape. Also when he put on the 3 gears for the camshafts and crankshaft they were all the same size. For a 4 stroke engine to work the camshaft gears would have had double the amount of teeth than the crankshaft gear. Still though its a piece of art!

    That is incredible.

Shame though that he didn't make it 50%-100% bigger and it probably would have been possible to introduce combustion in there. But I get the feeling he wanted to make it as small as possible, the likes of the one in Alanstrainor's link had been done before.
