    Hi All,

Just wondering did anyone notice the sudden jump in the price of diesel since about Thursday night, but petrol staying static?

I know oil was a bit high last week week but I would have imagined both would have went up if this was the reason

They've flipped in a few places in Cork. Petrol was 1.43 last night and Diesel was 149.9

diesel and all forms of home heating oil are produced in the same process, increased demand for heating oil and same production capacity means they increase price

I thought the whole libyan crisis being over would drive down prices.

I would suspect they're anticipating the budget, and making a quick buck.

There's already a thread on this. It'd be better, if all discussion was kept in one thread. :)
