Mondeo 2008 zetec speaker issue

    Hi Guys,

    hope you can help.
    I have a 2008 Mondeo. Last week the rear speakers started making loud static bangs but only when the car is off???? When I have the radio on or am driving there is no issue but then the car is off the back speakers go bezerk to the extent that you can hear the bangs from inside the house and the car vibrates.

    Is this dangerous? I brought the car to an auto electrician but, as always, the noise would not happen so he could not hear it first hand. He said with the car off there should be no power to the speakers so can't see how this is occurring.

    thanks for any advice of if anyone else experienced this before.
